Born on July 19, 1975, to a dynamic young mother and a military father with a passion for music and photography, Sara grew up surrounded by creativity and resilience. Her mother’s journey from certified nursing assistant to nursing home owner instilled in Sara the values of hard work, ambition, and compassion. A pillar of strength in her life has been her bonus dad, a man who never runs out of stories, laughter, or words of wisdom. Through his humor, sharp insight, and constant encouragement, he showed her the true meaning of unconditional love and what it means to be family.
Navigating the challenges of frequent moves during childhood, Sara and her brother developed a deep sense of adaptability and determination. These experiences became the heartbeat of The Adventures of Raspen and Sylas, a beloved children’s book series that blends meaningful life lessons with enchanting storytelling.
